Sturdy tights
The sizes on the back of the package are 1-3(x-small)34-40"/17-37lbs. 4-5(small) 37-48"/38-55lbs. 6-8(medium) 46-56"/56-80lbs. 10-12(large) 57-60"/81-110lbs.My very tall 4yr-old is 43" tall and her inseam is 20". Size 4-5(small) was hard to get on her, very tight fit. The 6-8(medium) fits her great with some room to grow. I machine wash them in a mesh laundry bag(even though it's recommended to hand wash)and air dry , and have had no problems, as these are very sturdy tights.

Good Quality
I have a 4 year old in dance and these tights have worked very well for her. They are sturdy and comfortable. They have made it through the laundry a number of times and only got a run in them when she tripped in the parking lot.

Great Tights
My 6-year-old daughter wears these tights for her ballet/tap dance class. She wears size 6X pants and size 7 shirts, and for these tights, the Intermediate (6X/7) size fits perfectly. She's actually worn this particular brand/style of tights since she started dance lessons (at age 3), so we previously owned sizes Toddler and Small, too. None of her tights have ever ripped, and only one got a small "blemish" (a little discoloration, and the material felt thinner in that area) from when my daughter fell on her knee, but even that never opened up into a run or a hole. So I'd say the quality is pretty great. Also, these tights are super soft and stretchy, and my daughter is even able to put them on all by herself. (She has trouble putting on "regular" tights by herself, that she wears with dresses, I guess because they aren't as stretchy.)Now this might be like comparing apples to oranges, so maybe it's not entirely fair, but when buying this year's tights, I first bought...

Perfect. Exactly what I ordered
Exactly what I ordered and needed and arrived on time. Soft micro fiber tights for dance but we used for Halloween costume. Run true to size. I bought 4-6x for my five year old.

Excellent tights
I bought these tights for my 3 year old granddaughter who wants to be a ballerina. They fit great, are really sturdy and she loves them. Very good quality, not cheaply made and great for the price.

Great tights
These are great tights. They are the same brand that my daughter's dance studio sells and I can get them a few dollars cheaper on Amazon. The tights fit her 4T size and they are durable enough that they should last her the entire school year. You do have to be gentle with washing and handling. I have found the best way to keep them clean is to wash on delicate cycle and line dry. The opening under the foot makes it easy for my daughter to wear the tights on her foot for ballet class and then slide the tight off her foot and up her leg so she is bare footed for gymnastics.

Soft and comfortable ballet tights for girls
I purchased those for my newly minted ballerina girl. She's one of those children who hate tags or anything that feels uncomfortable on the skin, so I was a bit apprehensive about the open foot feature bothering her, but she really likes them and tells me they are soft and comfortable. The only - probably inevitable - downside is that they are wearing out a bit sooner than I expected. She only takes ballet once a week and despite gently laundering and hanging them out to dry they are looking a bit worse for wear. Time to buy a second pair.

I should have read the reviews - Dance 4 Less redeemed themselves
I just contacted Dance 4 Less regarding my recent order of these tights. I was very kind to the company in my email as I felt the package I received was most likely a defect of the specific item, not the product as a whole. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the other two Reviewers...whoops! My daughter is a tiny 3 year old (10th percentile), so I ordered a size 2-4 which should have provided plenty of room. The legs barely stretched around her tiny bones and the crotch was a chore to stretch where it should be. Though I hadn't paid much attention to the sizing as it was more the problem with the wasteband that caused us the issue. The elastic was completely old and crunchy. Once stretched, it stayed extended and floppy.I will let you know if and how they respond. I can't imagine it's intentional, but now reading the other reviews, I am wondering how much time they are (or clearly are not) spending on Quality Control of their products...
